Last August, we were very fortunate to find a room opening at Many Glacier Lodge, last-minute. The weather was very cool and rainy, so it was very nice to relax around the fire at the lodge.

Frozen Lake McDonald
Lake McDonald doesn’t freeze over often, probably every 10 years or so. With this winter’s rather chilly temperatures, it was no huge surprise to learn that it had frozen this year.
